Steve Snelling - Chartered Physiotherapist
Steve Snelling holds a degree in Physiotherapy, is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council as well as being an Extended Scope Chartered Physiotherapist. He is the lead therapist and founder of First Physio Ltd. He has extensive experience, going back over 40 years, of dealing with injury management and rehabilitation, and lists amongst a range of associated qualifications those of advance trauma management and resuscitation; He holds the European Paediatric Advance Life Support certificate, as well as a number of Diplomas in relation to injury management, rehabilitation and lifestyle management. Steve is a qualified FA medical tutor and holds the Football Association (FA) Diploma in the treatment and management of injures. He is a member of a number of Professional bodies including the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports & Exercise Medicine, an Associate Member of the Royal Society of Medicine and a Trustee of the Salvadorian Children’s Earthquake Trust (SALCET). He has travelled, as a volunteer, to all parts of the world in relation to the provision of emergency and long term aid to countries affected by natural disasters. Steve has worked, both full-time and part-time, in professional football dealing with adult and academy players. He has extensive experience dealing with groin, knee and other lower limb and complex injuries occurring in a wide range of patients from the ‘part time sports participants through to full-time National and International athletes. Additionally he has worked, with a local doctor, in the Accident and Emergency department of a large hospital for the last 13 years. He uses the extensive network of consultants and health and injury related resources, the best possible service to his patients.
